Fast
The simplicity of our menus enables you to dine in your own time.
Whether in a rush or at a leisurely pace, we aim to serve you according
to your schedule. If you are in a rush we aim to serve your starter
within 5 minutes and your main course within 10 minutes. If you
are taking your time please just let us know; you have your table
for as long as you like as we never book a table twice during an
evening. If you need attention quickly, simply use our table call
button! (available SE1, soon to be available at EC2)
Fresh
All our dishes are fresh, made from scratch with produce from
local markets. We compile the menu with the freshest foods of the
season. We insist (and monitor) that all our produce has the right
history, with full traceability and wherever possible the least
journey possible.
Affordable
We pride ourselves on providing excellent menus at prices to suit
all. When you only use seasonal produce you'd be surprised
at how much money you can save, it also tastes better!
Responsible
In the interests of our local community, we are committed to
reducing and recycling waste and conserving energy with regular
audits. We also work hard to understand the needs of all sectors
and have links with local schools and resident forums. We use fair-trade
tea and coffee. For our efforts we won the Business in the Community
National Award for a small company in 2004.
