Corporate Social Responsibility At Bankside Restaurants we also take our corporate social responsibility seriously. We believe that a restaurant is part of the community and should therefore aim to have a positive impact within it. Here are some of our CSR acitivities:

Environmental Awareness - We recycle as much waste as possible and incorporate innovative features such as wine on tap to keep glass usage to a minimum. We also use Enjo chemical-free cleaning system which is better for the environment and our customers and staff.

Sponsorship - We support local charities through fund-raising, sponsorship and promotions. We have raised over £10,000 for Action for Blind People through our charity ball and other fund-raising efforts.

Education - We support several local education projects including BRASS (Business Responsibility and Southwark Students), Southwark Gifted and Talented (for which we contributed £5,000) and the Leap Learning Festival in association with South Bank University.

Investors in People - We treat our employees with respect and offer them a high level of training and support plus perks such as an annual bonus and discounted health club scheme. Motivated employees have risen through the ranks to become managers in the company. In light of our commitment to our staff we have been awarded Investors in People certification.
